Laffey Family Day Care opened in January 2018, as an approved education and care service licensed under Mount Isa Family Day Care Scheme. Government Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate will be available to eligible families.
Tania Laffey is the educator running Laffey Family Day Care. Tania has lived in Cloncurry for 6 years and you may recognise her from Cloncurry State School where she has been teaching the last 3 years. As an educator Tania is experienced in caring and educating children, and she is excited to plan for and engage in activities with younger children.
"I aim to offer a nurturing, safe and educational environment for children. My focus is not only to care for children but to provide opportunities for Love, Laughter and Learning. I also feel as a Family Day Care, where my own child is one of those I care for, I am highly invested in creating opportunities and engaging activities for children."
Laffey Family day care provides care From Monday - Thursday.
Hours of operation are from 7:45am to 5:00pm
Opening Hours
Laffey family daycare is situated in Tania's family home in Alice street, where she lives with her husband Craig, and their son Gideon.
There are limited places available due to the strict Educator:Child ratios enforced by government regulations. Casual spots do pop up at times, and when a position opens Tania contacts those on the waiting list first, if you would like to enquire about being ona casual list or the wait list contact Tania by email, at tania.laffey@outlook.com, or using the contact tab on this page.
